Our Coffee: Sustainable, Unique & Community-Driven
We proudly cultivate our coffee using sustainable, climate-smart agriculture — a commitment strengthened through our collaboration and training with Guba, a pioneering permaculture learning center in Malkerns. Since 2009, Guba has been exploring solutions for a more equitable society, using permaculture as a design tool to create low-carbon, highly productive human and environmental systems. Their work in abundant food systems, appropriate technologies, and transformative learning has deeply shaped how we grow coffee today.
Guided by Guba’s agroecological model, our farms are designed as thriving ecosystems. Coffee grows alongside banana, avocado, mango, and papaya trees, enriching biodiversity while providing farmers with food and extra income. We use organic compost and manure fertilizers, plant bamboo windbreaks to prevent erosion and sequester carbon, and follow zero-tillage and no-deforestation farming to protect the land for generations to come. Our demonstration plots in Manzini, Lubombo, and Hhohho have proven that coffee can flourish at both high and low altitudes when grown regeneratively — delivering year-round food security, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods for our network of farmers.

Our Green Coffee
Sourced from the heart of Eswatini, our Arabica (SL28 variety) and Robusta beans are grown at varying elevations — with our main farm sitting at 880m above sea level. The unique altitude and climate conditions create beans with distinctive depth and character.
Post-Harvest Processing: We use the Full Wash Method, ensuring a clean, well-balanced cup profile.
Harvest Season: February to September, with an annual yield of approximately 14–20 tons.
Export Volume: 90% of our green coffee is exported to South Africa.
Local Use: The remaining 10% is roasted for the domestic market, bringing the taste of Eswatini home.
